Psychiatric Nurse Practitioner - Join Our Team!

We are seeking a dedicated Psychiatric Advanced Practice RN  to provide advanced psychiatric care under the supervision of a psychiatrist. Your role will involve assessing, planning, and delivering comprehensive psychiatric patient care independently or in collaboration with other healthcare professionals. Here are some highlights of the role:

• Prescribing medications and interpreting laboratory/diagnostic tests
• Directing psychiatric activities and treatment
• Leading the patient's recovery team
• Participating in quality assessment and performance improvement programs

Key Responsibilities:

• Providing acute and long-term psychiatric care
• Conducting rounds and Recovery Team Meetings
• Participating in court hearings and liaising with the courts
• Developing accurate and timely documentation

Requirements:

• Advanced Practice Registered Nurse certification
• Specialization certification in psychiatric nursing
• 2+ years of clinical nursing experience
• Experience in supervising or leading others
