NP/PA - APC Faculty for Advanced Practice Clinician (APC) Fellowship - Appleton, WI

Froedtert ThedaCare, a highly successful northeast Wisconsin non-profit health system, seeks a Family Medicine Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant to join our APC Faculty for our Appleton, WI location.

Position Highlights:

• 0.25 FTE opportunity working with fall and spring cohort fellows during their 12-month long program one day a week
• Supervise, teach, and mentor APCs enrolled in the fellowship program
• Directly responsible for giving learners formal feedback daily, reviewing and observing direct patient care, and attesting APC fellow documentation
• Responsible for teaching principles of point-of-care evidence-based medicine, and participate in their own development as faculty
• Collaborate with and provide feedback to APC Fellowship Task Force for continuous improvement of the APC Fellowship program

Qualifications:

• PA-C or NP
• Minimum experience of at least 3 years in a Primary Care clinic setting and Board certification in Family Medicine, Pediatrics, or Internal Medicine
• Active Wisconsin medical license and in good standing as well as in good standing within organization and current clinical practice setting
