NORTON HEART & VASCULAR INSTITUTE, located in Louisville, Kentucky, is seeking an acute care, board-certified provider to join its expanding program. The ideal candidate will join a comprehensive Heart Rhythm Center supported by a dedicated team that includes seven board-certified electrophysiologists, five advanced practice providers, two nurse navigators and several dedicated in-house cardiac device specialists. The center offers a dedicated Atrial Fibrillation Clinic and remote device monitoring program and is part of a new cardiovascular multidisciplinary clinic space that opened in 2023.

Norton Heart & Vascular Institute is the area’s largest collaborative cardiovascular group, with more than 50 board-certified physicians and more than 45 advanced practice providers focused in a specialty and subspecialty model that includes general cardiology, advanced cardiac imaging, electrophysiology, interventional cardiology, advanced heart failure care with mechanical circulatory support, vascular surgery, and structural heart and cardiothoracic surgery. Norton Heart & Vascular Institute maintains more than 57% of the total cardiovascular market share in our primary service area.

ABOUT THE POSITION

  • Opportunity to work with a nationally accredited A-fib Center of Excellence in an A-fib clinic model
  • Supported by the Heart Rhythm Center remote monitoring team that provides paperless device follow-up for over 6,000 patients
  • Ability to practice inpatient and outpatient care with a work-life balance
  • Competitive base+ wRVU compensation model
  • Additional compensation for quality/key performance indicators
  • Total compensation package that includes relocation reimbursement, continuing medical education funds, signing bonus and more

REQUIREMENTS

  • Bachelor’s degree
  • One of: APRN or PA-C
    • APRN must be acute trained
  • Must have a minimum of two years’ experience in cardiology as an acute care nurse practitioner or physician assistant
