Job Summary
The Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant is responsible for assessing, diagnosing, and caring for pediatric pulmonary patients and their families. The Advanced Practice Provider (APP) in collaboration with the pulmonologist will provide management and education for complex patients as needed. The APP will also work on the inpatient pulmonary consult service team with the consult attending and pulmonary fellows to provide recommendations for patients with pulmonary and respiratory diagnoses throughout the hospital. This position requires a multidisciplinary approach and strong critical thinking skills to manage the care of patients with complex, chronic pulmonary conditions and multi-organ system involvement.
Scheduled Hours: Variable 13° shifts including nights, weekends, and rotating holidays
