Make a meaningful impact close to home. Mercy Health is seeking a Family Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant to join our friendly and fast-paced Walk-In Clinic in Defiance, Ohio. This full-time role offers the opportunity to provide high-quality, patient-centered care to individuals and families across the lifespan from newborns to adults in a welcoming, community-focused environment.

Opportunity Highlights

• Setting: Outpatient, walk-in/urgent care clinic

• Schedule: Full-time

  • Monday–Friday: 8 a.m. – 8 p.m.

  • Saturday: 9 a.m. – 5 p.m.

  • Sunday: 1 p.m. – 5 p.m.

• No call responsibilities

• New graduates welcome – enjoy mentorship and collaboration with an experienced care team

• Procedures include: Splinting, sprain care, incision and drainage, sutures and staples, ear irrigations, nasal packing, and other minor procedures

• Clinical support: 1:1 CMA/LPN ratio

• Technology on-site: Lab, EKG, X-ray, and point-of-care testing

Located within Mercy Health – Defiance Hospital, the Walk-In Clinic serves as a trusted resource for immediate, accessible care. Providers see a variety of acute visits and minor injuries in a collaborative, team-based environment. The clinic also supports a virtual care connection to patients at Put-in-Bay through Mercy Health’s telehealth program.

The more stars, the better a hospital performed on the available quality measures. The most common overall rating is 3 stars.
