Responsibilities:

- Evaluate, diagnose, and manage patients with various kidney diseases and conditions
- Collaborate with physicians, nurses, and other healthcare professionals to develop comprehensive care plans
- Order and interpret diagnostic tests, such as lab work and imaging studies
- Prescribe medications and treatments as needed
- Educate patients and their families on disease management, treatment options, and healthy lifestyle choices
- Participate in ongoing quality improvement initiatives to enhance patient outcomes

Qualifications:

- Current certification as a Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant
- Relevant experience in Nephrology or a related field
- Strong knowledge of kidney disease, transplantation, and dialysis
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, dynamic environment

Russo, M.D., Ph.D. He is a board-certified Nephrologist with several years of experience in private practice in New Jersey and Naples, Florida. Due to his extensive research background, Dr. Russo is a presenter at medical conferences and conventions. He is also an adjunct professor for NOVA Southeastern University and has been published in several medical journals.

In December 2007, Vera M. Stricevic, M.D., joined Naples Nephrology, P.A. Dr. Stricevic is also board certified in Nephrology. Before joining us, she has several years of experience working for a private practice in Clearwater, Florida.
