Schedule & Work-Life Balance

Clinic Hours:

  • Monday–Friday
  • 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM
  • Thursdays: 10:00 AM – 7:00 PM

Additional Details:

  • Rotating on-call responsibilities
  • No routine weekend clinic schedule

What You’ll Do

  • Perform comprehensive eye exams and diagnose vision conditions
  • Prescribe corrective lenses and treatment plans
  • Diagnose and manage ocular diseases and conditions
  • Identify vision complications related to diabetes, hypertension, and other systemic diseases
  • Prescribe medications and provide post-operative care
  • Collaborate with multidisciplinary providers for coordinated patient care
  • Provide clinical leadership and mentorship to support staff
  • Maintain accurate and timely documentation

Qualifications

Required

  • Doctor of Optometry (OD) degree
  • Active Kansas Optometry License
  • CPR Certification (within 30 days of hire)

Preferred

  • DEA Certificate
  • Public health or community clinic experience
  • Previous medical office experience
