To meet the needs of the region and provide seamless, high-quality, comprehensive care, we are seeking a full-time Advanced Practice Provider to provide family-centered care to term, and pre-term newborns in the newborn nursery. United Health Services (UHS) obstetrics program is the community leader with greater than 1600 deliveries each year including low-risk and high-risk pregnancies. The program also holds a designated Level III NICU. Key responsibilities for this role include: performing comprehensive physical assessments on newborns including admission, daily, and discharge exams. Identify and manage common neonatal conditions, order and interpret appropriate diagnostic testing, and manage common newborn conditions. This position will collaborate with neonatologists and pediatricians to develop and implement care plans. This role will also include providing newborn care education to parents/caregivers, as well as coordinate discharge planning. Neonatal NP, Pediatric NP, Family Medicine NP or Physician Assistant with Neonatal, Pediatric or Family Medicine experience are encouraged to apply. New graduates are also encouraged to apply.
The position includes a competitive starting salary of $135,000 to $150,000 with bonus incentives, a sign-on bonus, moving expenses, and a vast array of employment benefits.
