Cardiology - Physician Assistant

We are seeking a compassionate and skilled Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant to join our Outpatient Cardiology Clinic. In this role, you will work closely with our team of cardiologists to provide comprehensive cardiovascular care, focusing on prevention, diagnosis, and long-term management of heart and vascular conditions. This position offers the opportunity to build lasting relationships with patients, contribute to quality improvement initiatives, and be part of a supportive, patient-centered practice dedicated to improving heart health in our community.

 

Job Responsibilities

Perform comprehensive cardiovascular assessments, including history and physical exams
Order, review, and interpret diagnostic studies
Manage acute and chronic cardiac conditions under physician supervision
Provide patient education and counseling regarding prevention, treatment plans, and lifestyle modifications
Document all patient encounters accurately and timely in the electronic medical record

Qualifications

Education:
Master’s degree in Nursing (MSN) with certification as a Nurse Practitioner, or
Master’s Degree as a Physician Assistant from an accredited program.

Licensure & Certification:
Current and unrestricted license to practice as an NP or PA in the state of Arizona
National certification (AANP/ANCC for NP or NCCPA for PA)
