Required Skills:
  • Valid Nurse Practitioner license in North Carolina
  • Proven experience in general medicine or related fields
  • Excellent clinical assessment and diagnostic skills
  • Strong communication and patient interaction abilities
  • Ability to perform interview-based evaluations and basic physical assessments
  • Familiarity with healthcare documentation and report submission
  • Reliable and professional with a commitment to patient confidentiality and quality care

Nice to Have Skills:
  • Prior experience with Compensation & Pension exams or military-related health assessments
  • Knowledge of common musculoskeletal and mobility assessments
  • Familiarity with telehealth or remote evaluation platforms
  • Additional certifications in occupational health or related specialties

Preferred Education and Experience:
  • Master’s Degree in Nursing (MSN) or higher in Nursing
  • Minimum of 2 years of clinical practice as a Nurse Practitioner in general medicine or related fields
  • Prior experience in a locum or temporary healthcare role is advantageous

Other Requirements:
  • Own a dedicated office space within the specified radius of each location
  • Availability to work 4 to 8-hour shifts on a PRN basis, including weekdays as scheduled
  • Willingness to travel locally, with all travel expenses included in the compensation package
  • Ability to complete exams and submit reports promptly within scheduled timeframes
  • Must successfully complete credentialing and onboarding processes efficiently
