This vital role offers flexible scheduling and meaningful work, supporting veterans through non-treatment Compensation & Pension exams and Separation Health Assessments. Required Skills:
  • Valid Nurse Practitioner (NP) license issued by the state of New Hampshire or eligible for licensure.
  • Proven experience in general medicine, internal medicine, family medicine, or related specialties.
  • Strong interviewing and physical assessment skills, including range of motion and muscle strength testing.
  • Ability to perform non-treatment exams efficiently with attention to detail.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to interact effectively with veterans and team members.
  • Reliable availability for PRN engagement, primarily on days scheduled in Lincoln and Lebanon, NH.

Nice to Have Skills:
  • Previous experience performing Compensation & Pension (C&P) exams.
  • Familiarity with government or veteran healthcare systems.
  • Certification in VA or related military healthcare programs.
  • Proficiency in documentation and report submission using digital platforms.

Preferred Education and Experience:
  • Master’s Degree in Nursing or higher.
  • At least 2 years of clinical experience as a Nurse Practitioner.
  • Prior experience with veteran populations or government healthcare contracts is advantageous.

Other Requirements:
  • Own a dedicated office space within a 50-mile radius of Lincoln and Lebanon, NH.
  • Willingness to complete credentialing and onboarding promptly.
  • Ability to travel within the specified geographic area at no cost, as travel is included in rates.
  • Compliance with all VA and federal regulations pertaining to healthcare practice and documentation.
