Physician Assistant/Nurse Practitioner - Urgent & Acute Care

Key Responsibilities:
- Provide comprehensive urgent and acute care to adult and pediatric patients aged 6 months and older, including minor procedures such as I&D, lac repairs, and ear irrigations.
- Manage high patient volumes efficiently while maintaining excellent clinical standards and compassionate interaction.
- Independently assess, diagnose, and treat patients utilizing EMR systems, primarily Epic, with necessary training.
- Adhere to all credentialing, licensure, and certification requirements, including Board Certification, PA Cert, Family NP Cert, BLS, and DEA registration.
- Collaborate with offsite supervising physicians and onsite support staff to deliver seamless healthcare services.
- Maintain detailed documentation of patient encounters and procedures in compliance with regulatory standards.
Required Skills:
- Minimum of 12 months of urgent care or primary care experience with adult and pediatric patients.
- Strong proficiency in Epic EMR system.
- Excellent communication and soft skills to connect effectively with patients, families, and support staff.
- Ability to work independently as the sole provider at times, demonstrating strong clinical judgment and decision-making.
- Demonstrated ability to perform minor procedures confidently and efficiently.
- Valid license and certifications as specified (Board Certification, PA Cert, Family NP Cert, BLS, NC DEA).
Nice to Have Skills:
- Experience with high-volume patient care settings.
- Multilingual abilities or additional certifications.
- Experience working within community-based or outpatient clinics.
- Familiarity with multiple EMR systems beyond Epic.
Preferred Education and Experience:
- Completed graduate-level education in Physician Assistant Studies or Nurse Practitioner program.
- At least 12 months of recent clinical experience in urgent or acute care environments.
- Board-certified in respective field (PA or NP) with current licensure and certifications.
Other Requirements:
- Availability to participate in mandatory training sessions, including scheduled EMR and onboarding training.
- Willingness to support multiple location assignments within a 60-mile radius.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment without supervision.
- Authorized to work in the United States; no travel reimbursement provided, only mileage.
