Join Our Team as a Physician Assistant or Nurse Practitioner – Urgent & Acute Care

What You Will Do:
- Provide comprehensive urgent and acute care to adult and pediatric patients (6 months+), managing high patient volumes efficiently.
- Perform minor procedures such as I&D, lac repairs, ear irrigations, and more.
- Utilize Epic EMR to document visits accurately and efficiently, with training provided and required for all providers.
- Partner with support staff including center managers, medical assistants, and support personnel to ensure smooth operations.
- Operate independently as the sole provider at the center, delivering high-quality clinical care and positive patient interactions.
- Complete credentialing requirements and participate in onboarding/training sessions to ensure readiness for clinical duties.
- Follow established protocols and maintain compliance with all certification and licensing requirements.
- Contribute to a team environment focused on delivering exemplary healthcare services in a community-based setting.
Required Skills:
- Minimum 12 months of clinical experience in urgent or acute care settings.
- Current board certification (ABMS, AANP, NCCPA, or similar) and valid state licensure.
- Valid BLS, NC DEA certification.
- Proficiency with Epic EMR (training provided).
- Ability to handle adult and pediatric patients independently.
- Strong soft skills, including communication, professionalism, and teamwork.
- Ability to work within a 60-mile radius of your residence and support multiple locations as needed.
Nice to Have Skills:
- Experience with procedures such as I&D, lac repairs, ear irrigation, etc.
- Prior experience in high-volume urgent care clinics.
- Bilingual capabilities to serve diverse communities.
- Additional certifications or advanced training in urgent or emergency care.
Preferred Education and Experience:
- Graduate-level degree (PA or NP) with active certification.
- At least 12 months of experience in urgent or emergency care settings.
- Prior EMR proficiency, especially with Epic systems.
Other Requirements:
- Must participate in scheduled Wednesdays EMR and onboarding training sessions prior to first solo shift.
- No travel reimbursement; support within a 60-mile radius preferred.
- Must pass a clinical screening and complete all credentialing before scheduling.
- Compliance with all healthcare regulations and institutional policies.
