Exciting Opportunity: Nurse Practitioner – Urgent Care, Physician Assistant – Acute Care, and Urgent Care Physician Assistant

As a Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant specializing in urgent and acute care, you will operate independently in fast-paced environments, providing critical care to diverse patient populations, including both adults and pediatrics. In this role, you will see and treat all patients as the sole provider at the center, managing a patient volume of approximately 30 patients per day, with up to 40 ppd depending on the site. You will perform minor procedures such as I&D, lac repairs, ear irrigations, and other urgent care interventions. Proficiency with Epic EMR systems is required, along with certification in BLS and relevant board credentials (Board Certification, NCCPA, NP Boards). Experience of at least 12 months in urgent or emergency care settings is necessary; new graduates are not considered.

Candidates should possess excellent soft skills for effective patient and staff communication, along with the ability to work independently without supervision. Strong clinical judgment, attention to detail, and proficiency with procedures are essential. Additionally, familiarity with utilizing Epic EMR and the ability to troubleshoot minor technical issues are vital for success.

Preferred qualifications include experience in pediatric and adult urgent care, comfort with EMR workflows, and prior management of a diverse case load. While travel reimbursement is not available, candidates must be willing to support multiple nearby locations within a 65-mile radius of their residence.
