Physician Assistant - Family Practice, Urgent Care, and Acute Care

Key Responsibilities:
- Independently evaluate and treat all patients within the center, managing a variety of urgent and acute cases.
- Perform minor procedures such as I&D, lac repairs, and ear irrigations.
- Utilize Epic EMR system efficiently, demonstrating proficiency with the platform.
- Collaborate closely with support staff, including center managers, MAs, and supervising physicians.
- Ensure compliance with all clinical protocols, certifications, and documentation standards.
Required Skills:
- Minimum of 12 months of clinical experience as a Physician Assistant in urgent or acute care settings.
- Board Certification as a PA (NCCPA) or Family Nurse Practitioner certification with current BLS certification.
- Demonstrated proficiency with Epic EMR and ability to independently manage patient care.
- Strong soft skills and ability to provide compassionate, patient-centered care.
- Excellent communication and teamwork abilities.
Nice to Have Skills:
- Experience with pediatric and adult urgent care cases, including minor procedures.
- Ability to work independently without supervision, as no onsite supervision is required.
- Familiarity with offsite supervision arrangements and credentialing processes.
Preferred Education and Experience:
- Active certification as a Physician Assistant with NCCPA or Family Nurse Practitioner certification.
- Minimum of one year of relevant clinical experience in urgent or acute care settings.
- Competency in performing minor procedures and managing a wide age range of patients.
Other Requirements:
- Must be comfortable supporting multiple locations within a 65-mile radius of residence.
- No travel or lodging reimbursement offered; mileage reimbursement only.
- Availability to start on December 18, 2025.
- Ability to complete EMR training and onboarding prior to first solo shift.
- Must be able to see and treat patients independently, handling approximately 20-40 patients per day.
