Physician Assistant - Emergency Medicine / Family Practice / Urgent Care

Required Skills:

• Minimum of 12 months of clinical experience as a Physician Assistant or Nurse Practitioner in urgent or emergency care settings
• Board certification (NCCPA, NP Boards, or equivalent)
• Valid PA license and current BLS certification
• Proficiency with Epic EMR system, including charting and documentation
• Ability to independently see and manage all patients, including performing minor procedures such as I&D, lac repairs, and ear irrigation
• Excellent soft skills, with the ability to communicate effectively with patients and support staff
• Capable of handling all patient care responsibilities autonomously in a high-volume environment

Nice to Have Skills:

• Experience with pediatric patients, including those under 6 months
• Additional certifications such as Advanced Practice Provider (APP) certifications
• Prior experience working in urgent care or emergency medicine settings with proficiency in pediatric and adult care

Preferred Education and Experience:

• Graduate-level degree (Masters or higher) in Physician Assistant Studies or Family Nurse Practitioner program
• At least 12 months of direct clinical experience in urgent or emergency care settings with a focus on adult and pediatric populations

Other Requirements:

• Ability to work within a 65-mile radius of your residence to be eligible for multiple site coverage
• Availability for clinical interviews and successful completion of EMR training and onboarding before first solo shift
• No travel reimbursement; travel and mileage are the responsibility of the provider
• Support from on-site center management, off-site supervising physicians for APPs, and supporting staff such as MAs and coordinators

Hourly Pay Rate: $1.00
