Join Our Team as a Physician Assistant or Family Nurse Practitioner in Urgent Care – Make a Difference Today!
We are seeking dedicated Physician Assistants, Family Nurse Practitioners, and Nurse Practitioners to provide exceptional primary and urgent care services across multiple community locations. This vital role offers the opportunity to work independently in fast-paced urgent care settings, delivering quality care to both adult and pediatric patients ages six months and up. Key Responsibilities:
- Provide comprehensive urgent and primary care to diverse patient populations.
- Perform minor procedures such as I&D, laceration repairs, and ear irrigations.
- Manage up to 40 patients per day, approximately 20 on average, utilizing EPIC Electronic Medical Records.
- Work independently as the sole provider at assigned centers, supported by a medical team including center managers, medical assistants, and support staff.
- Demonstrate excellent soft skills for effective communication with patients, staff, and multidisciplinary teams.
- Adhere to all clinical guidelines, including BLS certification and meeting board certification requirements (NCCPA, NP Boards, PA Cert, Family NP Cert).
Required Skills:
- Minimum 12 months of clinical experience in urgent care and primary care settings.
- Proficiency with EPIC EMR system.
- Valid board certification: NCCPA, NP Boards, PA Cert, or Family NP Cert.
- Current BLS certification.
- Ability to work independently, managing a full patient load from initial assessment to treatment.
Nice to Have Skills:
- Experience with minor procedures and pediatric care.
- Strong soft skills and excellent communication abilities.
- Flexibility to support multiple locations within a 65-mile radius.
Preferred Education and Experience:
- Graduation from an accredited PA or NP program.
- Current state licensure as a Physician Assistant or Nurse Practitioner.
- At least one year of relevant urgent care or primary care experience.
Other Requirements:
- Availability starting December 9, 2025.
- Ability to work in various centers without supervision, as supervision is provided remotely.
- Eligible for Medicare Enrollment.
- No travel reimbursement; only mileage will be compensated.
- Support staff includes center managers, medical assistants, and offsite supervising physicians.
