DAYTIME HOSPITALIST – ACUTE CARE NP / PA OPENING
Plano, Texas

Texas Health Physicians Group is pleased to announce a full-time Hospitalist Acute Care Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant opportunity in Plano, TX. Expand your career by working closely with a successful group of hospitalists evaluating, diagnosing, and treating a variety of inpatient populations.

Position Details:

  • Assist hospitalists with inpatient evaluations, H&Ps, and follow-up visits
  • Initiate appropriate treatment and diagnostic testing for medical conditions
  • Complete history and physical examinations on all new admissions
  • Round on rehabilitation patients, including long-term acute care patients
  • Document in the EMR system
  • Participate in continuous quality improvement processes

If You:

  • Enjoy working daytime hours: 7 AM – 7 PM | 7 ON / 7 OFF
  • Possess strong active listening, critical thinking, reading comprehension, communication, time management, judgment, and decision-making skills
  • Are Texas licensed as an Acute Care Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant
  • Hold ACLS certification
  • Meet experience preferences:
    • PA: 1–2 years of ICU/CVICU experience strongly preferred
    • NP: 2 years of NP or RN ICU/CVICU experience required
