Opportunity Criteria
Northwestern Medical Center is seeking a dedicated Physician Assistant/Nurse Practitioner to provide non-emergent and occupational health services under the supervision of the Medical Director and licensed physicians.
Join our team in Vermont if you meet the following criteria:
- Graduate of an approved Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant program
- Licensed as a Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant in Vermont
- Current ACLS certification
- Experience in critical care and cardiac management
As part of our team, you will:
- Diagnose, treat, and consult under physician supervision
- Complete timely documentation and orders for lab/diagnostic procedures
- Provide patient education on acute and chronic conditions
- Maintain knowledge of occupational health regulations and standards
- Effectively communicate treatment plans with patients and families
- Participate in hospital committees and process improvement initiatives
