What You’ll Do:
- Provide overnight trauma and acute care surgical services in a high-acuity hospital environment
- Manage trauma admissions, emergency surgeries, and inpatient care
- Perform patient evaluations, develop care plans, and interpret diagnostic results
- Assist with trauma procedures, resuscitation, and operative support alongside surgeons
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to ensure quality patient outcomes
- Document clinical activities thoroughly in Epic EMR
- Practice autonomously while managing multiple complex tasks
- Contribute to quality, safety, and performance metrics of the trauma service
- Engage in professional development and leadership opportunities within UCHealth
What You Need:
- Colorado PA license, BLS, ACLS certifications
- Minimum 2 years of trauma surgery experience or completion of a surgical fellowship (preferred)
- Strong clinical judgment and teamwork skills
- Ability to work independently and handle complex cases under pressure
