Pay & Benefits
  • Pay Rate: $136,822 – $179,379 annually (based on experience)
  • Additional Compensation: Up to $10,000 annually through QVIP; relocation bonus up to $10,000 for eligible candidates

What You’ll Do
  • Provide comprehensive overnight trauma and emergency general surgery care
  • Perform assessments, order and interpret diagnostics, and develop treatment plans
  • Manage trauma and emergency surgery patients across inpatient settings
  • Support trauma surgeons with procedures and patient management
  • Collaborate autonomously with physicians and multidisciplinary teams
  • Document all care in Epic EMR system
  • Ensure compliance with hospital standards and medical staff bylaws
  • Participate in mentorship, leadership development, and educational activities
What You Need
  • Active Colorado Nurse Practitioner license (or ability to obtain)
  • Minimum 2 years trauma surgery or surgical fellowship experience preferred
  • Ability to perform assessments, diagnostics, and management independently
  • Strong communication and teamwork skills
  • DEA license, BLS certified (ACLS preferred)
  • No newly licensed practitioners; prior trauma/surgical experience required
