Job Description

The Orthopaedic Clinic at Dartmouth Health Manchester is seeking a highly motivated and experienced Advanced Practice Provider (PA or NP) with specialized training in Orthopaedics. This role includes outpatient clinic care, surgical first-assistance, inpatient rounding, and admission responsibilities, as well as dedicated administrative time. The APP will focus on sports medicine, general orthopaedics, and joint procedures, and will play a key role in patient triage, initiating treatments, and coordinating care with medical specialties and support services. This is a Monday through Friday position with 36 clinical hours per week and a half-day reserved for administrative tasks. The APP will participate in practice call, covering patient concerns outside of scheduled clinic hours. Benefits at Dartmouth Health:

Required Licensure/Certifications

  • At least 1 year of experience as a Physician Assistant or Nurse Practitioner in Orthopaedics or a surgical subspecialty
  • Academic preparation at the Master’s level required
  • Current (or eligible) certification to practice as a Physician Assistant or as a Nurse Practitioner in New Hampshire
  • RNFA (Registered Nurse First Assistant) certification required for Nurse Practitioners
  • CPR Certified
  • ACLS Certified (can be obtained within the first year of employment)
