WHO WE ARE LOOKING FOR:
Franciscan Physician Network is seeking a full-time Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant that specializes in Pulmonary Critical Care Sleep Medicine to join our team and meet the growing demand for Pulmonary, Critical Care and Sleep Medicine services located in our FPN Northwestern Indiana region (our department covers 3 locations: Franciscan Health Munster, Franciscan Health Dyer, & St. Anthony Hospital at Crown Point). Interested candidate will be joining a team of well-established providers including six physicians and three advanced practice providers.
WHAT WE NEED:
Ideal candidate will have a focus on caring for adult patients with experience in clinical excellence and patient satisfaction. Candidate will display exceptional interpersonal skills, strong critical care skills, and a desire to develop strong ties with the community and build long-lasting relationships with patients and their families. Advanced Practice Provider will need to work collaboratively to coordinate and deliver the highest quality of patient care.
WHAT YOU CAN EXPECT:
Weekend & Holiday Call: 1:4
Average Inpatient Volume: varies
Average Outpatient Volume: 8 - 12 patients during clinic hours
EPIC electronic medical record
The APP will be mentored and trained in procedural skills including:
Central line placement
Arterial line placement
PICC placement (if applicable)
Thoracentesis
Chest tube placement and removal
Potential training on intubations based on competency progression
Strong mentorship from existing providers

Physician Assistant Certified (PA-C) - Required - or
