Locum - Physician Assistant (PA) - Oncology

Required Skills:
- Certified Physician Assistant (PA) with valid ND licensure and DEA registration
- Proven experience in outpatient medical oncology or related specialties
- Ability to perform comprehensive patient evaluations, staging, and treatment planning
- Familiarity with chemotherapy and immunotherapy protocols
- Excellent clinical judgment and communication skills
- Proficiency with Mosaiq and Meditech EMR systems
- Ability to collaborate effectively with multidisciplinary teams and support staff
- Prior bone marrow biopsy experience preferred but not mandatory
Nice to Have Skills:
- Experience with regional health system coordination (e.g., Mayo Clinic, U of M, Trinity Health)
- Additional training or certification in hematology/oncology
- Fluency in additional languages
Preferred Education and Experience:
- Master's degree or higher in Physician Assistant Studies
- At least 2 years of recent oncology clinical experience
- Proven track record of independent practice in oncology settings
Other Requirements:
- Must be available to work at least three days per week (Monday-Friday, 8 AM to 5 PM)
- Ability to complete credentialing promptly, including ND license and DEA registration
- Willingness to travel locally if necessary
- Support staff includes experienced RNs, infusion nurses, and ancillary providers
The hourly pay rate for this locum position is competitive, with rates to be discussed upon application. Compensation includes orientation, holiday pay, and support for credentialing and licensing.
