Overview:
We are seeking committed Physician Assistants and Nurse Practitioners to join our Hematology Oncology team on a contract basis starting November 1, 2026. This role involves working primarily with solid tumor cancers, with a mixture of hematology cases, excluding BMT and procedures. The position entails a Monday through Friday schedule, 8:00 AM to 4:30 PM, and offers an excellent opportunity for professional growth in a supportive environment. Proven experience with Epic/Beacon and a well-rounded clinical background will set you apart. While initial credentialing may take until March, you will be integral to patient care from day one.
Required Skills:
- Valid and current PA or NP certification and licensure.
- Proven experience in hematology and oncology settings.
- Strong clinical judgment and excellent patient communication skills.
- Familiarity with Epic and Beacon electronic medical record systems.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a collaborative team.
- Attention to detail and adherence to safety and regulatory guidelines.
Nice to Have Skills:
- Prior experience working with solid tumors, lymphoma, or general oncology.
- Additional certifications in oncology or hematology.
- Experience supervising or mentoring staff such as RNs or medical assistants.
- Knowledge of a diverse patient population and culturally competent care.
Preferred Education and Experience:
- Master's degree in Nursing or Physician Assistant studies from an accredited institution.
- Minimum of 2 years of clinical experience in oncology or hematology.
- Prior experience with Epic/Beacon is highly desirable.
Other Requirements:
- Willingness to work full-time Monday through Friday, 8:00 AM – 4:30 PM.
- Ability to pass credentialing and onboarding processes.
- No travel required for this position.
- Must hold or be eligible for state licensure and applicable certifications.
