Join Our Team as a Locum NP/PA in Emergency Medicine – Lansing, MI
We are seeking highly skilled Nurse Practitioners and Physician Assistants to provide exceptional emergency medicine coverage at McLaren Greater Lansing. Required Skills:
- Valid NP or PA license in Michigan
- Board Certification in Nurse Practitioners or Physician Assistants
- Prior experience in emergency medicine or urgent care settings
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
- Strong clinical assessment and decision-making skills
- Proficiency with Cerner EMR or similar electronic medical record systems
- Excellent communication and teamwork abilities
Nice to Have Skills:
- Previous experience working in a Level 3 trauma or emergency department
- Familiarity with fast track patient flow and triage procedures
- BLS, ACLS, and PALS certifications
- Experience managing pediatric and adult emergencies
Preferred Education and Experience:
- Master’s Degree or higher in Nursing or Physician Assistant Studies
- Minimum 2 years of emergency medicine or urgent care experience
- Prior locum or temporary staffing experience in a hospital setting
Other Requirements:
- Proof of immunizations including Hep B, MMR, Varicella, Flu, COVID-19, TB screening, and TDAP
- Ability to clock in/out using DocTime (no timesheets)
- Willingness to work the 11a-11p shift, seven days a week
- Eligible to work in the United States without restrictions
