Facility: Baylor Scott & White – Continuing Care Hospital & Skilled Nursing Facility (SNF)
Schedule: Monday–Friday
Patient Census: 8–12 patients

Position Overview

Baylor Scott & White Continuing Care in Temple, TX is seeking an Acute Care Nurse Practitioner (ACNP) to join our interdisciplinary care team. This position provides care across a continuing care hospital and skilled nursing facility, offering a manageable patient census and a collaborative practice environment. New graduates are welcome to apply.

Key Responsibilities

• Perform patient follow-ups and daily rounding

• Conduct admissions and ongoing care management

• Provide hospital consults

• Place central lines and PICC lines (training/support available as needed)

• Collaborate closely with physicians, APPs, nursing, and care teams

• Opportunity for a mix of inpatient and outpatient responsibilities

Call Schedule

• Shared call coverage between APPs and Physicians

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited Acute Care Nurse Practitioner (ACNP) program

• Current or eligible Texas APRN licensure

• National board certification (ACNP)

• Strong clinical judgment and communication skills

• Interest in continuing care, post-acute care, or SNF settings

• New graduates encouraged to apply

QUALIFICATIONS

- EDUCATION - Grad of an Accredited Program

- EXPERIENCE - Less than 1 Year of Experience

- CERTIFICATION/LICENSE/REGISTRATION -
       Nurse Practitioner (NP)

       Registered Nurse (RN)

       Basic Life Support (BLS): Basic Life Support (BLS) within 30 days of hire or transfer.
