Sentara Healthcare is searching for an Acute Care NP or PA to join its high-performing Trauma Service Team at Sentara Norfolk General Hospital, a Virginia State-designated Level 1 Trauma and Burn Center. With the help of the hospital-based Nightingale Regional Air Ambulance and EMS partners in surrounding communities, Sentara Norfolk General Hospital s trauma program receives patients within a 125-mile radius, from Virginia s Northern Neck to Ocracoke Island on North Carolina s Outer Banks.

This is a Full-Time position working 40 hours per week, and includes some weekends based on a rotational basis.

• Join high-performing Trauma Team of 5 trauma surgeons and 7 APPs
• Disposition trauma patients from ER and floor

Requirements for this position include Virginia-licensed Acute Care Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant and an unrestricted DEA license at the time of start. Candidates must have the ability to provide quality, comprehensive, continuity of medical care in a compassionate manner with minimum supervision.

We provide market-competitive compensation packages, inclusive of base pay, incentives, and benefits. The base pay range for full-time employment is $107,785.60 - $312,000.00 annually. Additional compensation may be available for this role, such as shift differentials, on-call pay, shift premiums, extra-shift incentives, or bonus opportunities. Compensation within the range may vary based on qualifications, experience, location, market conditions, and business needs. Note: If an annual salary is posted, it is based on a full-time colleague working 2,080 hours annually.
