Central Vermont Medical Center (CVMC), a partner with University of Vermont Health, is seeking an experienced and skilled Certified Nurse Midwife to join our team in a full-time capacity.
CVMC’s Gynecology, Midwifery, and Obstetrics team is a collaborate group that includes four full-time midwives (with three additional per diem) and five physicians attending approximately 250 births per year. Our CNMs provide full-scope midwifery services inclusive of office-based antepartum and gynecologic care, triage, intrapartum care, postpartum care, and surgical first assist for cesarean births. CNMs are first call and provide 24/7 midwifery coverage. Our collaborative care model includes supportive OB/GYN backup and easy access to MFM consultation. Support staff includes a team of experienced RNs, a licensed clinical mental health counselor, and a registered dietitian.
