Bon Secours Mercy Health is seeking a dedicated, compassionate Advanced Practice Clinician (NP/PA) to join our Occupational Health (OH) and Employer Services (ES) clinics in North Ridgeville, Ohio . This position offers the opportunity to provide high-quality, patient-centered care in a collaborative OH/ES setting.

As part of our OH/ES team, you will manage work-related injuries, employee health services, wellness initiatives, and episodic care. Our clinics operate on a predictable weekday schedule, allowing for consistent hours and the opportunity to build strong, long-term relationships with both staff, patients, and employer partners.

OH/ES Scope of Services

  • Evaluation and treatment of work-related injuries and illnesses based on employer request.
  • Workers’ compensation and return-to-work evaluations
    • Completed at our main Occupational Health clinic and few onsite clinics.
  • Employee health services and pre-employment physicals
  • Episodic and acute care for contracted employers and their family
  • Coordination with primary care and specialty providers

Key Responsibilities

  • Diagnose, treat, and manage occupational health and episodic care patients
  • Assess work-related injuries and determine appropriate treatment and restrictions/referrals
  • Perform minor procedures within scope and training
  • Collaborate with clinical and administrative staff to ensure efficient patient flow
  • Educate patients on care plans and return-to-work expectations and wellness initiatives
  • Maintain accurate and timely documentation in the electronic medical record

Qualifications

  • Current, Ohio License 
  • Current, unrestricted Ohio DEA and CDS - required
  • Minimum two years of active clinical experience – preferred
    • Background in Urgent Care, Emergency Medicine, Family Medicine, or Occupational Health - preferred
  • Ability to practice independently with sound clinical judgment - required

Work Hours

  • 8:30-5pm
  • NO evenings, NO on-call, NO weekends
  • Clinics are closed on all major government holidays
