General Surgery Physician Assistant

POSITION

• Hospital-employed General Surgery PA
• Join an established, high-volume surgical practice alongside Dr. Thomas Etter
• Monday–Thursday clinic (8:00 AM–5:00 PM) and Friday (8:00 AM–Noon)
• Typical clinic volume of approximately 15 patients/day
• Assist with pre-operative evaluations, post-operative care, inpatient rounding, and surgical first assist
• Opportunity to independently manage clinic patients while the surgeon is operating
• Shared call with surgeon (approximately 10 call days/month)
• Broad autonomy with physician support

SURGICAL EXPERIENCE

• Heavy Da Vinci robotic surgery
• Regional trauma experience
• Breast surgery
• Colon surgery
• Thyroid surgery
• Hernia repair (including complex hiatal hernias)
• Upper GI surgery
• Endoscopy
• Broad-spectrum rural General Surgery rarely seen in today's practice
