POSITION HIGHLIGHTS
Practice Setting
· Busy Urgent Care clinic serving a mixed patient population
· Treating patients ages 6 months and older
· Located in the rapidly growing community of Hutto
· Updated clinic space with strong operational support
Patient Volume
· Average 25–30 patients per day
· Broad urgent care scope including acute illness and minor injury management
Care Team & Support
· Collaborative clinic environment with:
o 5 Primary Care Physicians
o 1 Endocrinology Physician
· Dedicated support staff including:
o 1 LVN and 1 CMA (1:1 support ratio)
o 3 Patient Services Specialists (PSS)
· Lab services available Monday–Friday
Schedule
· Clinic hours:
o Monday–Friday: 8:00 AM – 8:00 PM
o Saturday & Sunday: 9:00 AM – 5:00 PM
· Rotating two-week schedule
o Week 1: Monday, Tuesday, Friday, Saturday, Sunday
o Week 2: Wednesday, Thursday
· Provides built-in extended time off during rotation
Role & Responsibilities
· Provide autonomous urgent care management
· Evaluate and treat acute conditions and minor injuries
· Manage a diverse patient population across all ages (6 months+)

· Opportunity to practice independently while still having physician collaboration
Qualifications
· Minimum 1 year of clinical experience preferred

The Nurse Practitioner (NP) Urgent Care is a licensed, certified healthcare provider. They provide direct patient care and have prescriptive authority. They are credentialed, privileged, and billed as an independent provider by Medicare and Medicaid. The Advanced Practice Provider offers medical care based on the supervising physician's scope of practice. They typically care for patients in urgent or convenient care clinics.

Basic Life Support (BLS): Basic Life Support (BLS) within 30 days of hire or transfer.
