The Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant will provide direct patient care to critically ill and injured patients, collaborating with and under the direction of physicians in the Neuro-Endovascular and Neuro Critical Care Program, following established standards and practices. Minimum requirements: Graduate of an accredited school of nursing with ANCC or AANP certification or physician assistant program. Successful completion of an approved Nurse Practitioner or PA program. Ability to react calmly and effectively in emergency situation. CPR and ACLS certified and must maintain certification during employment. NIH Stroke Scale certification obtained within 3 months of employment commencement. Preferable characteristics: Previous critical care experience (ie. ICU or Emergency Department).
Salary Range $143,100 - $167,000 annually
