 About this role:

As a Surgical Oncology Advance Practice Provider, you will work with a team of healthcare professionals committed to providing quality care and excellent patient experience.  In this role you will provide advanced perioperative and oncology-focused care across inpatient, outpatient, and procedural settings. Conduct patient assessment, treatment planning, perioperative and postoperative care management, care coordination, and education.

• This position includes up to $7,500.00 in relocation assistance is applicable
• You will practice at Intermountain Health, Intermountain Medical Center
• This role follows a Monday–Friday schedule, generally 7 a.m.–5 p.m., with adjustable start times as needed.
• 3 clinic days and 2 days in the OR
• Skilled in supporting and managing patients with advanced or rapidly evolving oncologic needs.
• Provide clear, compassionate education to patients and their families to support understanding and engagement in care.

What you’ll bring:

• APRN or PA-C degree from an accredited program
• Board certification or eligibility in the designated discipline
• Ability to perform advanced clinical tasks
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• Oncology or surgical experience (preferred)
• Active, unobstructed Colorado, Nevada, Utah, Montana, Wyoming APRN or PA, license or the ability to obtain one
• Full prescriptive authority and an active DEA, or the ability to obtain one
• Ability to successfully complete Intermountain Health’s credentialing process
• Must have experience with EPIC
• Consideration will be given to new graduates who have previous experience in surgical care, oncology, dermatology, or palliative care.
