Join Our Team as a Family Nurse Practitioner
Are you an experienced Family Nurse Practitioner passionate about delivering quality care in diverse settings? We are seeking a dedicated and skilled FNP to provide compassionate healthcare services within an inpatient psychiatric unit. This vital role offers the opportunity to make a meaningful impact on patients' lives while working in a supportive, team-oriented environment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide comprehensive family medicine care for patients aged 10 and above, primarily adults.
- Work intermittently on weekends, with scheduled hours from Monday to Friday, 8:30 AM to 5:00 PM.
- Collaborate closely with a multidisciplinary team to ensure optimal patient outcomes.
- Maintain accurate documentation and follow all clinical protocols and regulations.
Required Skills:
- Certified Family Nurse Practitioner (FNP-BC) with at least 2 years of relevant clinical experience.
- Ability to practice independently in Massachusetts.
- Current CPR/CPIS certification; CPI training required prior to start.
- Strong clinical assessment skills and excellent communication abilities.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
Nice to Have Skills:
- Experience in behavioral health or inpatient psychiatric settings.
- Bilingual abilities or additional language skills.
- Knowledge of specific population needs, including adolescent and elderly care.
Preferred Education and Experience:
- Master's degree in Nursing or higher from an accredited institution.
- Active Massachusetts Nurse Practitioner license.
- Minimum of 2 years post-licensure clinical experience in a family medicine or psychiatric setting.
Other Requirements:
- Must be willing to work intermittent weekends and adhere to site scheduling needs.
- Valid NP license and CPR certification.
- Ability to obtain and maintain CPI certification.
- Travel reimbursements and licensure-related reimbursements as applicable.
