Locum - Nurse Practitioner - General Medicine Lake City, FL

Required Skills
- Valid Nurse Practitioner license in Florida
- Experience in general medicine, family medicine, internal medicine, or related fields
- Strong interview skills with the ability to perform physical assessments, including range of motion and muscle strength testing
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
- Familiarity with Veterans' healthcare needs and procedures (preferred)
Nice to Have Skills
- Prior experience performing Compensation & Pension exams or Separation Health Assessments
- Background in orthopedic surgery or other specialized medicine areas
- Certification in relevant clinical assessments
- Familiarity with electronic health record systems
Preferred Education and Experience
- Master's degree in Nursing or higher from an accredited institution
- At least 2 years of clinical practice as a Nurse Practitioner
- Previous experience working with Veterans or in a healthcare setting that involves assessments and interviews
Other Requirements
- Must have own clinic or office within 50 miles of Lake City, FL
- Availability for 2 days per week, with flexible scheduling for full or half-day shifts
- Willingness to complete quick credentialing and onboarding
- No prescribing or treatment responsibilities; focus on interview-based exams and physical assessments
- Travel reimbursements included as applicable; no additional certifications or portal training reimbursement
Compensation for this role is set at $402.00 per hour, with opportunities for bonus payments upon successful completion of onboarding and initial exams. This is an excellent opportunity to work independently while contributing to the well-being of our Veterans.
