Ascension Saint Thomas Medical Partners is looking to add a Full Time Behavioral Health APP (PMHNP) at our Ascension Saint Thomas Hickman Medical Clinic in Centerville, TN. 

Position Highlights:

• Providing Behavioral Health Services in our Rural Health Clinic in Centerville, TN
• Full Time with flexible schedule
• Requires PMHNP 
• Seeing on average 10-12 patients per day
• Some complex patients ages 12 and up
• Seeking a good well rounded provider that is willing to go the extra mile for their patients

Responsibilities:

• In collaboration with a physician, provide for the expansion of individualized primary healthcare services by diagnosing and treating certain acute or chronic health conditions.
• Obtain patient history and perform assessment via observation, interview and examination. Order, perform and interpret diagnostic studies. Perform preventative health assessments, screening, immunizations and patient care.
• Provide direct treatment and management of health conditions via referral to other healthcare providers or community resources.
• Counsel and educate patients and their families/caregivers concerning preventative health, treatment options and community resources.
• Document delivery of health care and nursing processes in accordance with specific specialty area standards and network nursing policy.

Licensure / Certification / Registration:

• BLS Provider obtained within 1 Month (30 days) of hire date or job transfer date required. American Heart Association or American Red Cross accepted.
• Nurse Practitioner credentialed from the Tennessee Board of Nursing obtained prior to hire date or job transfer date required.
• Licensed Registered Nurse credentialed from the Tennessee Board of Nursing or current home state license for multi-state license recognition "Compact State" obtained prior to hire date or job transfer date required.

Education:

• Master's degree of Nursing required.
