We are seeking a highly skilled and compassionate Family Nurse Practitioner to provide critical support within an inpatient psychiatric unit. Required Skills:
- Board-certified Family Nurse Practitioner (FNP-BC) with a minimum of 2 years of clinical experience
- Ability to practice independently in Massachusetts
- CPI (Crisis Prevention and Intervention) certification or willingness to complete training
- Strong clinical assessment, diagnostic, and management skills
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work autonomously and handle remote call responsibilities effectively
- Knowledge of inpatient psychiatric care protocols and procedures
Nice to Have Skills:
- Previous experience working in psychiatric or behavioral health settings
- Experience with triage and crisis intervention
- Bilingual abilities to serve diverse patient populations
- Knowledge of telehealth technologies and remote monitoring
Preferred Education and Experience:
- Master's Degree in Nursing (MSN) or higher
- Certified in crisis prevention or related mental health certifications
- Over 2 years of clinical nursing practice
Other Requirements:
- Must be available for intermittent weekend, evening, and holiday coverage
- Beeper/call support handled remotely
- Willingness to work in an inpatient psychiatric environment
- Eligibility to work in the United States with valid licensure and certifications
- Willing to travel for licensure, certification renewal, or additional training if needed
