South Chesterfield Family Medicine has been serving the residents of Richmond's South Side in Chester, Chesterfield, Petersburg and neighboring towns for many years, and looks forward to continuing your care for years to come.  We provide thoughtful, respectful, thorough care for patients of all ages.  We offer in-office appointments and E-visits through Mychart.  

The Community: Historic Petersburg is part of Virginia’s Tri-Cities which includes Colonial Heights, Hopewell and the surrounding counties of Dinwiddie, Prince George, Surry and Sussex. Steeped in history it is has convenient access to several major highways. A 23 mile drive north will take you to Richmond the Commonwealth capital of Virginia or continue for another 80 miles to visit our nation’s capital Washington DC. Williamsburg is located 60 miles to the east and the Virginia beaches are 90 miles to the southeast. Petersburg leaders are highlighting is attractive historical sites. Old Towne today is a district of antique galleries, boutiques, craft shops, restaurants, cafes, and a mix of renovated residences. The oldest part of Petersburg lies along the bank of the Appomattox River. City government offices, the beautiful Courthouse complex, the Petersburg Visitors Center, the Petersburg Area Art League and scores of historic and architecturally significant structures are located in Old Towne Petersburg.
