Nocturnist Advanced Practice Clinician in Ocala, FL

TeamHealth has an exciting opportunity for a full-time nurse practitioner or physician assistant to join our hospital medicine team at West Marion Community Hospital in Ocala, Florida! This position focuses on admissions, cross-coverage, and managing acute issues for hospitalized patients. The clinician hired for this role will work a dedicated night shift schedule from 5pm to 5am within a 7-on/7-off block rotation.

Opportunity Overview

• 7-on/7-off block schedule/Monday through Sunday rotation
• Full-time nights/12-hour shifts/5p to 5a

Typical nocturnist NP/PA responsibilities include

• Admissions: average of 8 to 9 per night between both sites
• Cross-coverage between two facilities (HCA Ocala and West Marion)
• Coordination of care with nursing and ancillary services
• Documentation and handoff to daytime clinicians
