Required Skills:

• Active Physician Assistant license in Virginia or the ability to obtain one quickly
• Proven experience in urgent care and occupational health settings
• Proficiency in episodic care, injury management, and documentation within EMR systems (specifically Anthem)
• Strong clinical assessment and decision-making skills
• Ability to work autonomously with supervision available via phone when needed
• Excellent communication and patient management skills

Nice to Have Skills:

• Certification in Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) or Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS)
• Experience working with diverse patient demographics, including adolescents, children, adults, and geriatrics
• Familiarity with OSHA and occupational health protocols

Preferred Education and Experience:

• Graduation from an accredited PA program
• Minimum of 2 years’ experience in urgent care or emergency medicine environments

Other Requirements:

• Availability to work on an ongoing basis as needed
• Willingness to travel locally, with mileage reimbursed at IRS Standard Rate for local providers
• Certifications in Basic Life Support (BLS) and other relevant credentials needed for urgent care practice
