Locum - Physician Assistant (PA) - Urgent Care Danville, VA

Required Skills:
- Active Physician Assistant license in Virginia or the ability to obtain one quickly
- Proven experience in urgent care and occupational health settings
- Proficiency in episodic care, injury management, and documentation within EMR systems (specifically Anthem)
- Strong clinical assessment and decision-making skills
- Ability to work autonomously with supervision available via phone when needed
- Excellent communication and patient management skills
Nice to Have Skills:
- Certification in Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) or Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS)
- Experience working with diverse patient demographics, including adolescents, children, adults, and geriatrics
- Familiarity with OSHA and occupational health protocols
Preferred Education and Experience:
- Graduation from an accredited PA program
- Minimum of 2 years’ experience in urgent care or emergency medicine environments
Other Requirements:
- Availability to work on an ongoing basis as needed
- Willingness to travel locally, with mileage reimbursed at IRS Standard Rate for local providers
- Certifications in Basic Life Support (BLS) and other relevant credentials needed for urgent care practice
