Required Skills:

• Current NCCPA certification as a Physician Assistant
• Active state licensure in Virginia
• Proven experience in urgent care and occupational health environments
• Ability to work autonomously with minimal supervision
• Proficiency with EMR systems (experience with Anthem preferred)
• Strong clinical assessment and episodic care skills
• Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities
• Ability to handle injury treatment and episodic patient care efficiently

Nice to Have Skills:

• Experience working in diverse patient populations
• Additional certification in Occupational Health or Wilderness Medicine
• Familiarity with OSHA and workplace health protocols
• Bilingual proficiency (a plus but not required)

Preferred Education and Experience:

• Master's degree in Physician Assistant Studies from an accredited program
• Minimum of 2 years’ clinical experience, particularly in urgent care or emergency settings
• Prior experience with EMR documentation and quick decision-making

Other Requirements:

• Valid PA license and DEA registration
• Reliable transportation for mileage reimbursement (eligible providers only)
• Willingness to work flexible hours to accommodate patient needs
• Must adhere to all applicable state, federal, and local regulations regarding healthcare practice
