Key Responsibilities:

• Provide episodic urgent care and injury treatment services
• Manage patient care for diverse age groups
• Document care efficiently within the Anthem EMR system
• Collaborate with supervising physicians, who are available via phone for guidance
• Operate autonomously while maintaining compliance with facility protocols

Required Skills:

• Valid and current Nurse Practitioner license in Virginia
• Proven experience in Urgent Care and Occupational Health settings
• Strong clinical assessment and decision-making skills
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to work independently with available physician support

Nice to Have Skills:

• Certification in Advanced Practice Nursing
• Experience with occupational health documentation processes
• Bilingual abilities to serve diverse patient populations

Preferred Education and Experience:

• Master's or Doctoral Degree in Nursing (MSN or DNP)
• Minimum of 2 years' experience in urgent care or related fields
• Familiarity with Anthem EMR system

Other Requirements:

• Availability to start on or around March 19, 2026
• Flexibility to cover ongoing, as-needed shifts
• Mileage reimbursement for local providers at IRS standard rate
• Must possess a current BLS certification; additional certifications a plus
• Ability to work independently with supervision support via phone
