Key Responsibilities:

• Deliver episodic and injury-related care to patients of all ages, including adolescents, children, adults, and geriatrics.
• Assess, diagnose, and manage a variety of urgent health conditions efficiently and effectively.
• Document patient encounters accurately using the Anthem EMR system.
• Collaborate with supervising physicians as needed to ensure high-quality patient outcomes.
• Manage cases autonomously while adhering to clinical protocols and standards.

Required Skills:

• Valid Nurse Practitioner license in the state of Virginia.
• Proven experience in urgent care or occupational health environments.
• Strong clinical assessment, diagnosis, and treatment skills.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.

Nice to Have Skills:

• Experience using electronic medical records (EMR) systems, particularly Anthem.
• Familiarity with occupational health protocols and documentation.
• Basic procedural skills related to injury treatment.

Preferred Education and Experience:

• Master’s or Doctoral degree in Nursing (MSN or DNP).
• Minimum of 1-2 years of recent urgent care or emergency nursing experience.
• Certification as a Nurse Practitioner with prescriptive authority.

Other Requirements:

• Ability to work ongoing as needed with flexible scheduling.
• Willingness to travel within the local area for reimbursement purposes (mileage reimbursed at IRS Standard Rate).
• Reliable access to necessary certifications and licensure.
