Key Responsibilities:

• Provide episodic urgent care and injury treatment to patients of all ages.
• Manage a variety of clinical tasks independently, with supervision available via phone from a supervising physician.
• Document patient encounters accurately using the Anthem EMR documentation system.
• Conduct assessments, develop treatment plans, and deliver patient-centered care efficiently.

Required Skills:

• Valid Physician Assistant license in Virginia.
• Prior experience in urgent care or occupational health settings.
• Strong clinical assessment and decision-making skills.
• Ability to work autonomously in a fast-paced environment.
• Excellent communication skills and patient rapport.

Nice to Have Skills:

• Experience with occupational health procedures.
• Knowledge of local insurance and billing procedures.
• Bilingual abilities to serve diverse patient populations.

Preferred Education and Experience:

• NCCPA certification.
• Minimum of 2 years of experience in urgent care or similar settings.
• Proven track record of working independently with minimal supervision.

Other Requirements:

• Availability to work ongoing as needed starting from March 19, 2026.
• Willingness to travel within the local area; mileage reimbursed at IRS standard rate for local providers.
• Maintain current certifications, including BLS and ACLS as applicable.
• Ability to work flexible hours based on clinic needs.
