Key responsibilities include performing inpatient rounding, managing consults, and supporting cardiologists to deliver high-quality cardiac care. You will be integral to patient assessments, working seamlessly within a multidisciplinary team to ensure optimal outcomes.

Required Skills:

• Prior experience as a Physician Assistant in cardiology, preferably in an inpatient setting
• Proven track record with cardiovascular patient management
• Cerner EMR proficiency
• Strong clinical judgment and excellent communication skills
• Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team

Nice to Have Skills:

• Experience with other electronic medical record systems
• Cardiology certification or additional specialty training
• Prior locum or temporary staffing experience in hospital-based cardiology

Preferred Education and Experience:

• NCCPA certification or equivalent
• At least 2 years of cardiology experience, with specific inpatient care background
• Previous locum work supporting cardiology teams highly desirable

Other Requirements:

• Availability to start on 03/19/2026
• Schedule includes Monday through Friday, 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM, with occasional weekends
• Must possess valid licensure and certifications in good standing
• Willingness to support travel, licensure, and certification reimbursements as applicable
