Required Skills:
- Valid active California (CA) license and CA DEA registration
- Board Certified in your respective field
- Current BLS certification
- At least 2 years of clinical experience in trauma orthopedics or related orthopedic specialties
- Proficiency assisting with diverse orthopedic surgeries
- Ability to work comfortably in a fast-paced clinical and surgical environment
- Strong communication and teamwork skills
Nice to Have Skills:
- Experience with complex trauma cases
- Familiarity with hospital privileging processes
- Previous experience in a high-volume orthopedic practice
- Flexibility in managing on-call responsibilities and scheduling
Preferred Education and Experience:
- Master’s Degree in Nursing (NP) or Physician Assistant Studies (PA) from an accredited institution
- Prior hospital-based orthopedic clinical practice with documented case logs
- Minimum of 2 years of recent activity within trauma or orthopedic surgery
Other Requirements:
- Active California licensure and DEA credentials
- Ability to obtain hospital privileges, requiring 2 years of clinical activity in orthopedics, with documentation of case logs and experience gaps explained as needed
- Willingness to take call 5-7 days per month, including weekend and night shifts with flexible scheduling options
- Availability to start around June 18, 2026, pending privileges approval
- Participation in hospital credentialing process, including timely submission of documentation within specified timelines
