Required Skills
- Active Oregon medical license and DEA certification
- Board certification as a Physician Assistant or Nurse Practitioner
- BLS certification (Basic Life Support)
- Rheumatology-specific experience of at least 1 year
- Ability to provide direct patient care in a clinic setting
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Proficiency with electronic health records, specifically Epic
Nice to Have Skills
- Prior experience working within a hospital outpatient department
- Familiarity with hospital credentialing process and documentation
- Ability to support patient messages and provide desktop support
Preferred Education and Experience
- Master’s degree in Physician Assistant Studies or Nursing
- More than 1 year of Rheumatology practice experience in a clinical setting
Other Requirements
- Availability to work 5 days per week, Monday through Friday, 8 am to 5 pm, with a scheduled one-hour lunch
- Willingness to complete hospital credentialing process promptly to facilitate immediate start
- Reliable transportation and ability to meet all documentation deadlines
