Required Skills

• Active Oregon medical license and DEA certification
• Board certification as a Physician Assistant or Nurse Practitioner
• BLS certification (Basic Life Support)
• Rheumatology-specific experience of at least 1 year
• Ability to provide direct patient care in a clinic setting
• Strong written and verbal communication skills
• Proficiency with electronic health records, specifically Epic

Nice to Have Skills

• Prior experience working within a hospital outpatient department
• Familiarity with hospital credentialing process and documentation
• Ability to support patient messages and provide desktop support

Preferred Education and Experience

• Master’s degree in Physician Assistant Studies or Nursing
• More than 1 year of Rheumatology practice experience in a clinical setting

Other Requirements

• Availability to work 5 days per week, Monday through Friday, 8 am to 5 pm, with a scheduled one-hour lunch
• Willingness to complete hospital credentialing process promptly to facilitate immediate start
• Reliable transportation and ability to meet all documentation deadlines
