Required Skills:

• Valid Nurse Practitioner license with current certifications
• Proven experience in cardiothoracic surgery, vascular surgery, or critical care settings
• Ability to interpret medical tests and coordinate patient care effectively
• Excellent communication and organizational skills
• Proficiency with Epic EMR system
• Willingness to participate in OR and ICU/CVICU call coverage
• Strong clinical judgment and attention to detail

Nice to Have Skills:

• Experience with vein harvesting and vascular tissue retrieval
• Prior experience in perioperative or postoperative patient management
• Additional certifications such as ACLS or BLS

Preferred Education and Experience:

• Master's degree in Nursing (MSN) or higher
• Minimum of 3-5 years of relevant clinical experience in a surgical or critical care environment
• Prior locum or temporary staffing experience (preferred but not required)

Other Requirements:

• Coverage period from April through July, specific dates to be determined
• Credentialing timeline of 60-90 days; temporary privileges may be granted within 45 days
• Ability to manage 5-20 patients per day
• Willingness to assist with coordination of care, prescribing, and test interpretation as needed
• Must be able to travel to Springfield, OH, for the duration of the assignment
