Avera Holy Family Hospital, located on the same campus as Avera Medical Group Estherville, has continuous building improvements. Improvements have included 22 acute inpatient care rooms, same-day care facilities, surgical suites, and a special care unit. A new ER opened in May 2019. The physicians are supported by a wide spectrum of medical specialists, who serve the community through Avera Holy Family Hospital’s Outpatient Clinic.

AveraHoly Family Hospital, located adjacent to the Estherville Medical Clinic/Avera Health is a 25 bed facility. In 2002, the hospital underwent a major building improvement project that included new patient care areas, including acute inpatient care rooms, same day care facilities, surgical suites, a special care unit, an emergency department and a new childbirth center.

Patient services include Childbirth Center, Diagnostic Imaging, 24-hour ER, Hospice, Laboratory, OT, Pharmacy, PT, Respiratory Care and Social Services. The physicians are supported by a wide spectrum of physician specialists, who serve the community through Avera Holy Family Health’s Outpatient Clinic. The technology of telemedicine further assists physicians to provide specialty care close to home. As a part of the Avera Health family, we offer access to advanced medical expertise and technology in the community of Estherville and the surrounding market area.
