Per Diem NP/PA – Tallahassee, FL (Sanitas Medical Center)

Sanitas Medical Center is seeking a Per Diem Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant to provide high-quality primary care coverage at our Tallahassee location. This flexible role supports the clinic as needed, including coverage for PTO, sick days, and peak patient-care demands. Role Overview

The Per Diem NP/PA provides comprehensive outpatient primary care services, including assessment, diagnosis, treatment, preventive care, and care coordination. This role works closely with the Medical Director and clinic teams to ensure continuity and quality of care.

Key Responsibilities

• Perform patient evaluations and physical examinations.
• Diagnose and manage acute and chronic conditions within primary care scope.
• Prescribe medications in accordance with state and professional guidelines.
• Maintain accurate and timely documentation and follow-up on labs, imaging, and referrals.
• Provide patient education, preventive care, and health maintenance.
• Deliver excellent patient service across in-person and virtual care modalities.
• Support clinic operations by providing coverage as needed.

Qualifications

• Master’s degree from an accredited NP or PA program.
• Active Florida NP or PA license and DEA registration.
• Board certification (FNP for NPs).
• Minimum 1 year of experience in family medicine, primary care, or urgent care.
• Current BLS and ACLS certifications.
• Strong communication and teamwork skills.
• Experience working with multicultural patient populations preferred.
• Spanish proficiency preferred.

Additional Details

• Per Diem position with flexible scheduling based on clinic needs.
• No supervisory responsibilities.
• Must be able to work onsite at the Tallahassee clinic.
